Manatee, 1992
This was a commission to put together a manatee skeleton and make an accompanying calf sculpture. The endangered Manatee or Sea Cow has the heaviest bones of any mammal, this one was a female, over 10 feet long. Suspended in the natural history museum, in the second oldest lighthouse in Peurto Rico; Faro de Fajado, Las Cabezas de San Juan.
